意味：
（動詞）aping inまたはto ape inは株でも使用可能だが、主にクリプト界で使われ、ある銘柄を「調べずに買ってしまう」ことを意味する。急いで、そして大金を使用してのニュアンスが強い。apeは「猿」を意味し、「猿のように飛びつく」というイメージ。
暗号資産は銘柄数が多く、知らない銘柄を買う前に、デューディリジェンス（その銘柄に関する下調べ）が重要とされる。ただ、上昇相場のときは、ソーシャルメディアでバズった銘柄が急に値上がりすることが多いため、何も調べずにそのバズりそうな銘柄を買うことが少なくない。そうした場合は「I aped in」という。
Apes Together StrongというRedditで流行ったミームが由来。
